Gloria Burnett is the Director of Alaska's Area Health Education Center (AHEC) Program. As the Director of Alaska’s AHEC program, Gloria is tasked with coordinating statewide AHEC efforts into a single stream of data relying on longitudinal tracking of participants.

Gloria holds a Master of Science in Instruction, Bachelor of Art in Psychology and Instructional Technology Specialist Certification. She has been Director of Alaska’s AHEC Program for over 4 years. Prior to her current role, Gloria served as the Founder and Director of the Northwest AHEC in Barrow for 3 years before transitioning to the Dean of Students position, both at Ilisagvik College. She has a keen understanding of healthcare and education in rural Alaska and she places great value on community involvement in programming. Gloria has experience as principal investigator of a wide array of grants and has been involved in all aspects of the grant process including proposal writing, budgeting, administration, reporting, and evaluation. Gloria has extensive experience managing Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) grants and sub-awards over the course of the past 9 years. She has also managed a variety of contracts for specific continuing education, curriculum development, and other related projects during this same time frame.

Natalie is the Fiscal Manager who joined the Alaska Center for Rural Health & Health Workforce - AHEC in May of 2017. Natalie is tasked with managing the office's finances, which consist of budgeting, administration, and grant management, including the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) grants and sub-awards. Natalie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business from the University of Montana Western. Prior to ACRH/AHEC Natalie worked at the School of Engineering at the University of Alaska Anchorage for 6 years in both an administrative and fiscal role.

7u彩票网址Patricia (Pat) Sammartino is the AHEC Education Network Manager who joined the Alaska Center for Rural Health and Health Workforce (ACRH-HW) in December 2011. Pat works with the regional AHEC centers, industry partners, and other University of Alaska programs to develop Continuing Education/Professional Development (CE/PD) projects that meet the needs of Alaska’s Health workforce.  These include live trainings, distance delivered webinars, and the Alaska CACHE: Clearinghouse for Alaska's Continuing Health Education,.  She has helped establish the AHEC as a collaborative partner to enhance the delivery of trainings by providing CE credits and support services to other programs.

Pat moved to Alaska from New Orleans in March 2002 and worked with the Alaska tribal health facilities--first for Maniilaq Association in Kotzebue and later as the Statewide Recruitment Manager for the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium. Her experience has given her a great understanding of the challenges providers face working in rural and frontier communities.

Lauren Stredny is the Research and Program Evaluator and joined AHEC in Fall 2017. Her responsibilities include managing the Pipeline Cache (online database for all AHEC activities), compiling reports, performing federally-mandated evaluation of the program, and conducing health-workforce research for AHEC and its affiliates. She holds a BA in Marketing and is a candidate for an MA in Public Policy and Administration with a concentration in Global Health. 

Prior to joining AHEC, Lauren lived and worked in East Africa doing economic and community development in underserved areas. Lauren enjoys board games, traveling, braving new Alaskan hikes, crossword puzzles, and cooking for friends.

7u彩票网址Keriann is the Administrative Assistant for the Alaska Center for Rural Health & Health Workforce - AHEC. She supports all of the staff in the office with anything they may need assistance with. She holds a BS in Nutrition from UAA and is in pursuit of her MS in Dietetics and Nutiriton, also at UAA. 

Keriann was born & raised in Anchorage, AK. She enjoys being active - playing soccer, running, hiking, eating brunch (she's a foodie), and decorating her house.
